News You Can Use
An email bulletin sent fortnightly (with additional alerts for short deadlines) allowing subscribers to keep up to date with funding opportunities from sources such as national and local government, Lottery, European and charitable trusts and foundations. Annual subscriptions start at £50.
North East Guide to Grants for Voluntary Organisations (2011-2012)
An essential guide costing only £18 and containing details of over 90 charitable trusts and foundations with a significant grant-making presence in the North East.
The guide covers grant-making policies, procedures and examples, as well as advice on how to successfully raise money from trusts and foundations.
Fully revised and updated, it provides information on more than £55m available annually and now also includes information on the Big Lottery Fund.
Funders are listed alphabetically and by subject, type of organisation and size of grant, making it easy to identify appropriate funding.

A free email bulletin sent monthly (with additional alerts for short deadlines) and containing both information on tendering opportunities relevant to North East charities, community organisations and social enterprises and information about resources, events, training and consortia building.
North East Third Sector Funding Opportunities Database
An online database providing regularly updated information on funding available from a variety of sources including trusts and foundations, central and local government, European and Lottery.
Users can search the database by name, type of organisation or grant, amount of funding available, geographical area covered or by activity. Annual subscriptions start at £80.
