Team Valley Printers grows in strength

I HAVE always been proud of the fact that I started the company up when I was facing possible redundancy. I started out alone and quite quickly my twin brother Andrew left his job to join me.

We started off running a local publication, The Advertiser, which quickly became a successful product across the region.

The first edition was a fantastic success and we developed The Advertiser to cover six local areas.

Today, we cover more than 36,000 residential doors and 1,700 local businesses.

In September 2008 we made the first step to become a local employer and took on our first graphic designer.

A number of our family members are printers and it soon came apparent that the customers we were dealing with through The Advertiser also required flyers, leaflets and brochures.

We used our contacts to guide us in this sector of the business and in 2008/9 we began offering basic print runs and soon realised the potential for the company to move forward.

Now we have a core team of 10 members of staff and plan to recruit more in 2012.

We believe the success of our business is down to a few key factors; competitive prices, high-quality work and an excellent service.

We like to get to know our customers and understand their business, in order to forge long-term relations.

We have retained many of the customers we started working with five years ago and have never changed our core values.

The local business community have come to trust Team Valley Printers and believe we offer a hassle-free solution to manage their print and promotional needs.
