Eyes are on the prize
PROPERTY developer Terrace Hill has been shortlisted for the Property Company of the Year – North prize at the 2008 Estates Gazette Awards Dinner.
The nomination comes during a successful and busy summer for the company in the North-east, where a significant proportion of its development is based. Terrace Hill also has an office in Stockton.
Amongst other projects, Terrace Hill recently revealed proposals for a £45m retail and leisure development on the edge of Bishop Auckland, including a multi-ples and Sainsbury foodstore which attracted overwhelming support from townsfolk at a recent exhibiton.
This project is also planned to provide a long-awaited new home for one of the country’s most famous amateur non-league football clubs, Bishop Auckland FC.
The company announced that it had completed the largest office letting in the North-east for years, where 110,000sq ft in three buildings were pre-let to npower at its Baltic Business Quarter development in Gateshead.
Estates Gazette is hosting its fourth annual EG Awards on September 30, to celebrate excellence and achievement in property.
Martin Vickerman, director, Terrace Hill, said: “We are enormously proud of recent achievements the team at Terrace Hill has made in the North-east.”
