WE’RE KITTED OUT FOR ACTION

A TEESSIDE law firm is helping Hartlepool Cricket Club look its best this season.
Hartlepool-based TBI Solicitors is the club’s major sponsor and it has now funded new kit for the squad.
As well as a number of new amateur players, the club has announced two new professional squad members for the 2009 season, Janaka Gunaratne and Marc Symington.
Janaka, a Sri Lankan international, has joined the Hartlepool squad having played in England for the last four years, while Marc is well known in the region having played for Durham County for a number of years.
TBI Solicitors announced a major sponsorship deal with the club a year ago, and is now providing additional kit for this season.
The firm’s Steven Horsley said: “Hartlepool Cricket Club not only brings international calibre sport to the town, but also encourages youngsters to participate and enjoy team sport. TBI is pleased to be able to help fund the club in this aim and we wish them every success for the season.”
