Endeavour Partnership LLP has a corporate offering that “has the ideal size and ethos for both new and established companies with complex business needs”.

The articulate Paul Bury heads the corporate team while David Hunter, who provides “sound legal advice”, heads the commercial side of the practice, attracting clients from a broad range of industry sectors, including a major UK bank and a US corporation.

Archers Law LLP fields a “small but excellent team” under John Richardson, whom clients recommend for his “integrity, thoroughness and persistence”. The team recently advised The Baked Snacks Company on its £2.7m management buy-out from Zetar plc.

BHP Law attracts Newcastle and Gateshead-based corporates such as Shepherd Offshore Group and Eaga, notably advising the latter on the re-negotiation of the £1.5bn Warm Front programme. Gary Copeland heads the practice.

Jacksons Law continues to provide commercial advice to private limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders operating throughout the North of England. Tony Wentworth heads the practice and splits his time between Stockton and the newly opened Newcastle office.

Latimer Hinks advised on the sale of a number of architectural practices based in the region and also the South East. Nick Poole heads the practice.

Clients rate the “premium service at a fair price” offered by TBI. Highlights included advising on the sale of a family-owned, specialist adult-care unit to a multi-unit operator. The “outstanding” John Walters heads the team.
